The billionaire of the United States bought the presidency of the Italian club AS Roma
Italian football club AS Roma was bought by US billionaire Dan Friedkin. The agreement was announced on Thursday. The deal has been confirmed by Roma President James Pallotta.
"We signed the agreement last night," said Pallota, the current president of Roma. Within a month, after all the formalities of the club, Dan will understand the responsibility of the club.
Sky Sports reported that Friedkin had to pay 591 million dollar, or 533 million euros, in the deal.
All legal proceedings will be completed within the next few days. We think so. The steps required to transfer responsibility to the Roma club will be taken soon.
James Pallotta is an Italian businessman. After becoming president of Rome, he could not open his own destiny. James Pallotta has not been able to bring any major title to the club since he was the president of the club for almost 20 years. Roma have also lost the chance to play in next season's UEFA Champions League. Roma won their last league title in 2001.
